Westport Goldens is located in Port St Lucie, Florida breeding only English Type Goldens Retrievers.  We aim to provide sound dogs true to the Golden Retriever Breed. Our dogs live in the house with us and are part of our family. We do limited showing with our dogs as time allows.  They are first our pets then show dogs. We plan to actively pursue obedience training for all of our dogs.   The English-type Golden Retriever has a lovely  head, a typically wide back-skull and thick muzzle,  well angulated shoulders and rears. English Goldens have beautiful jet-black pigment and dark eyes. Coat color can range from cream to medium gold. A wave in the topcoat is not uncommon. Most importantly, they possess a very laid-back and gentle temperament.
