Westport Goldens is located in Port St Lucie, Florida breeding only English Golden Retrievers. 

 
Our goal is to provide sound dogs true to the English Type Golden Retriever Breed. 

Our Goldens live, and are raised in our home with us.
We have 2 boys who give our dogs more love and attention than they will ever need.
At Westport Goldens we do not keep our dogs in kennels, as they are part of our family. 

We do limited showing with our Goldens as time allows. As they are our pets first, then our show dogs. 


All of our breeding dogs have full and final clearances on Hips, Elbows, Heart and Eyes.
 
We believe in breeding to improve the quality of the breed.


We take pride in the selection of our breeding stock, to only choose  the very best in quality. 


The English Golden Retriever has a lovely head, a typically wide back-skull and thick muzzle, well angulated shoulders and rears.

English Goldens are known for their beautiful jet-black pigment and dark eyes.

An English Goldens coat color can range from cream to medium gold. A wave in the topcoat is not uncommon.

Most importantly, they possess a very laid-back and gentle temperament.

Males are typically 75-85 lbs. and Females 65-75 lbs.


Westport Golden Retrievers has had the honor of placing several puppies to serve as therapy dogs.

Westport Golden Retrievers thanks you for browsing our web site. We currently are breeders of only English Cream Golden Retrievers. Also known as White Goldens, these dogs are unique animals. The English “type” retriever has a shorter more muscular build than a standard Golden Retriever. They are never to be classified as exotic pets by any means.Their double coat color ranges from White to cream often with a wave in the fur. Having such a mild temperament they are ideal as show dogs, and quite often used in therapy work and as service dogs..As a Golden Retriever breeder in Florida we take special precautions with our dogs as they are our pets as well as show dogs. We limit our breeding to only our adult dogs when they have had their final health clearances. We offer puppies for sale as we typically only breed yearly. Westport Goldens takes pride in the golden retriever puppies we have for sale to loving homes. We also work with local adopt a pet programs for people who want to know what is a service dog.
