The English “type” retriever has a shorter more muscular build than a standard Golden Retriever. They are never to be classified as exotic pets by any means.Their double coat color ranges from White to cream often with a wave in the fur. Having such a mild temperament they are ideal show dogs, and quite often used in therapy work and as service dogs.. As a Golden Retriever breeder in Florida we take special precautions with our dogs as they are our pets as well as show dogs. We limit our breeding to only our adult dogs when they have had their final health clearances. We offer puppies for sale as we typically only breed yearly.
